Day 18 (July 9, 2009) of the Challenge!

Today I am exhausted. Didn’t sleep so well. I guess I really am getting nervous. The director told me they were almost sold out of tickets. That means over 700 people. Holy cow!! We are also going to tape a video, get a photo shoot in on the same day of the show!! I’ve got to try to quiet this mind of mine at night so I can sleep better.

I woke up around 5:30 am and did my first workout. I love love this workout. I met my goal.

After my workout, I did a little bit of yoga and stretching. YAY!! Also, my visualizing and affirmations for the day.

I didn’t walk to work today. Too much to carry with me today. I had breakfast around 8:30 am. For breakfast I had water and 1 cup of herbal tea with lemon. Fasting today!!

I have completed the pending projects here at work but have a few fires to put out. The AC is still broken so everyone is in a lousy mood but they are going to replace the AC unit today. That at least is a good thing.

Around 12:00 I took care of workout no. 2 at the gym. The AC felt wonderful. I love this workout. I didn’t meet my goal though. My time was a little off but I am feeling a little tired so I won’t beat myself up. At least, I did my workout and I am satisfied it was with great form and the right weight. Will do better tomorrow.

Afterwards I had lunch which consisted of - DUN...DUNN...DUNNNNN (drama folks) - water and a cup of herbal tea. Still fasting until 7:30 pm this evening.

Work was not very stressful today. I definitely was sweating more here than when I was working out. The AC guys finally finished at around 3:00 pm. YAY!!! It will take all night though for this place to cool.

I left work at around 5:30 pm. No time for a nap. I prepared dinner for the everyone - chopped steak with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and a wedge with blue cheese dressing.

I banged out workout #3 while they were eating. I then had a Mediterranean turkey burger and a small salad for dinner.

After dinner did a little yoga, stretching, and a shower. After my shower, I soaked in a hot tub for 20 minutes with a little bit of epsom salt, baking soda, lavendar essential oil. I went to bed at 10:00. YAY!!

I had 6 liters of water today. WOW!!

18th day down and 12 to go.

I'll try as the 1 performance that's a bellydance I can but the bhangra we are still going to be doing that number in a couple of other shows in September and October so I can't yet but with Dax's help I may be able to post it for our 30 in 30 group only.

Wow, you are a busy woman! I'm impressed! Don't worry about your show - I'm sure you'll be great!! Are you going to post a video on You Tube?
