Welcome To The 'Family Home' Of Dax Moy And Friends

HELLO,I'm back, i'm married and due to American portion sizes, quite a bit bigger than i was before.

I refuse to weigh myself, my clothes are tighter but my period is due tomorrow so back on the LGN train and I'll weigh myself in two weeks. I ate too much wheat and sugar and paid the price with constant acid indigestion. So i cut it out and hallelujah - no acid. I also - despite being in Vegas - completely failed to get drunk. I didnt have more than three drink any night i was there. Why? Because on my wedding day I was bought one of those awful yards of frozen daquiri. I ended up throwing up and spending a fewhours in bed with crippling stomach pain. WAAAAAY too much sugar and alcohol for me. I'm a wuss

STILL - i had an AWESOME time, i swam most days, we walked everywhere. We drank loadsof V8 because fresh fruit and veg was hard to come by in most places. We saw everything, we did everything, we hiked the canyon, we took a helicopter ride, we stayed up all night hopping from casino to casino. We got married 6 times!!

One, little chapel of flowers with Elvis
Two, Helicopter ride over the strip at night - vow renewal
Three, Grand Canyon hike vow renewal
Four, Rollercoaster ride vow renewal on top of the stratosphere
Five, Las Vegas sign vow renewal (wonderful)
Six, drive thru vow renewal

All in all a FANTASTIC time.My next goal is to get back into my cherry dress which is now all lumpy bumpy WITHOUT scaffolding underwear by mid November - the party with al friends and family to celebrate the wedding.

HELP ME everyone - i need your help and motivation and I promise you buckets of love and support in return

Mrs Wendy Jordan (Kirkwood)

Congratulations times six Wendy!!!!
Sounds like you had a wonderful time.
Go on. Bite the bullet, take the measurements & weigh yourself. It will be much more motivating when you see the pounds/inches coming off!!
On a positive note, recent weight gain is much easier to lose than persistent, long term weight gain. So you are doing the best thing by taking action now.
If its any consolation, even as a trainer at Dax's studio, I have previously struggled with weight gain. Less than 8 years ago, I was a coach potato, a UK size 16, and struggling with recurring back pain.
Yoga & healthy diet enabled me to control my weight, shape up, quit smoking & rectify my back pain & postural issues.
So we do understand how difficult it can be sometimes.
But now you understand, as do I how, how awful you can feel when you "enjoy" a toxic diet.
Makes you realise how bad you used to feel all the time, and just used to consider it normal.
Buckets of support, Mrs Kirkwood!!!
Give us a shout if you are struggling with anything.

Congratulations Mrs! I just got back from Vegas too, just last night. All that food made me gain 4lbs in 6 days. Is that even possible?! I had many major blowouts on all items not Elimination Diet approved (my prize - heartburn and weight gain!), but now I will knuckle down. Hopefully, we will both lose the pounds as quickly as we gained them!

Good luck!

Hello there Mrs. Kirkwood! I followed your Vegas adventures on Facebook - you guys really did it all, from getting married quite often, to shows, to nature, you name it! How awesome!
Welcome back home, I am sure Bobby missed you big time and is happy to have you back, even with a few pounds more!
I can really sympathize with you on that one, I am also up about 4 or 5 pounds due to eating wheat again, having an occasional coffee, and last week quite a few drinks. had to go to a food show, and there was booze everywhere. Yikes!

So back on the wagon now for us, let's get serious again with working out and eating clean! I promise you 5 pounds off by October 23rd when my parents arrive from Germany for a visit! And for you it is the cherry dress by Mid November, so keep us posted on the progress!

Congrats on your marriage, I still have to see the wedding though, I couldn't pull it up on the I-phone and need to go back on the computer now to find the link....
