I am a mother of 3 and work full time. My middle child is disabled. He developed bone cancer when he was 4 and had to have his leg amputated. He has many, many surgeries (over 20), a year of chemo, been G-tube fed, had to wear a halo to stabalize his spine, had daily injections of growth hormone, etc. The stress of all of that plus having a 1 1/2 year old who does not sleep well has taken a toll. Trying to lose the weight from pregnancy I thought it would be a good idea to get into racing (bicycle) and did very well, even won some races. Unfortunately, I ended up gaining weight from all the cardio, trying to balance too much and still breastfeed. Now I am taking it easy, focusing on yoga, pilates, walking and weight lifing. After starting the ED diet amazingly the fat I had been so desperate to lose all these months just started melting away, with no counting calories or crazy cardio sessions! Yay! I feel happier, more content with my life and I am sleeping better (except for the little one).
