Hi Ken Great info! I've seen this and other studies supporting green tea in the role of thermogenic aid, though i've read many that say otherwise too. Personally, I believe that green tea DOES assist in these areas as I've seen many people bene...

The thing is, you're either eliminating caffeine or you're not, right? I know that green tea is far, far less than coffee or tea but it still has the caffeine and so it has to go for the 30 days. I highly recommend it once the 30 days are over bu...

Hi Aimee, you'll find that some say oats are gluten free but it "cannot be guaranteed that they have not been prepared in a factory that deals with wheat". I always understood the BROW rule (barley, rye, oats and wheat) are glutenous but with oats...

Hi Piera,
I hope you are continuing to feel better every day. I am interested in the Maca supplement you wrote about. I have Maca powder, but did not know it came in supplement form. Can you tell me what brand and where you bought it? Thanks!

Hi Piera,

I thought it would be easier to reply to you this way. Well done for all you have achieved so far. I have lost 3lbs too, but I have to admit, I have had a few slips. I'm aiming for a good week this week though. I don't really need to lose much weight, just tone up. I put most of my weight on my stomach, so I'm working on losing a few pounds/some body fat so I can have my abs back. (I put the weight I lost from the look great naked challenge back on after my honeymoon in September. Somehow I managed to keep it off between July when the challenge finished and Sep). Am glad you are enjoying it and seeing the results. It really is a great program. I'm doing the London Marathon in April, so have to keep my runs up which won't help with the fat loss, but adding some of the interval and body work stuff in seems to be helping.

A Little about me!

I am from Toronto Canada, and practicing naturopathic medicine in an integrated medical clinic. I love fitness and used to work as a personal fitness trainer in various gyms. Excercise and healthy living is a very big part of my life, and I know that it has to be a lifestyle in order for it to give the best results. Its more important to me the actual health aspects of eating clean, excercising, meditating and doing yoga than for estetic reasons. When you eat healthy and clean, you feel healthy and clean. You breath easier, you think clearer and life just feels better.

I recently ( about 4 months ago) quit drinking coffee entirely. I was drinking 2 cups per day and found it was the one unhealthy habit I could really live without, I thought to my self, I take such care and make such effort to eat well, excercise, not smoke, not drink any alcohol, then why do i need to out in a toxin such as coffee into my clean system??
So out went the coffee. Now the last challenge I need to overcome is eliminating all wheat from my diet. Actually I don't eat bread, or pasta. I do have some wheat cereal in the morning. So once I can get rid of that I will be fully on this program :) wish me luck :)

3 LBS LIGHTER!!!!

I woke up this morning and recited my goals and affirmations in front of my mirror, took a shower and weighed myself for the first time since starting the ed. I AM 3 POUNDS lighter- woohoooo. Now I understand that most of it is water and toxic build up, but none the less I'll take it and I FEEL FANTASTIC!!

I feel more energy, more clarity in my thinking, and THE BLOATING and indigestion is gone!!! I am more excited about achieving my financial and business goals and I am taking ACTION everyday!… Continue

MY Update!

Well its day 6 for me- started a little later than most of you. AND I FEEL FANTASTIC. Finally the headaches are gone, and the nasty cravings for chocolate. I am really feeling like my body is getting healthier, not sure if its just psychological, but i definitely feel things are happening.

I've been weight training and doing yoga quite consistently. And have really cut down on the cardio. I haven't weighed or measured myself yet, I thought I would wait till at least day 7 to begin to take down… Continue
