seems like we are almost in the same boat after the challenge! And yes, I am waiting for the next challenge as well, as you said, it is doable when someone nags you, and hopefully at one point we will all be sufficiently self motivated to do it all by ourselves.

Hello and welcome back! I noticed I don't even know your name, since it is just L on your page....
Starting over now, how fun! Sorry for the headache, hope it gets better soon. It is good timing though, since exercise wise we are on an off week, and you had your 2 weeks off already, so you can come up to speed until Sunday and be ready for the last 25 days of beatings on Monday :-)

I have finally finished listening to the five mp3s about the Elimination Diet, and I realise that I have been cheating more than I thought.

Today I ate a hot dog - no bun, but there was dextrose and may have been some wheat in it, as well as several chemicals I couldn't pronounce. today, another small triumph

I managed both sets of exercises today, though I helped my balance with my fingertips on the table for the 1-legged exercises. Still can't touch the floor with the hip abduction (?) and did a set of regular push-ups instead of the super-duper ones.

I really didn't want to do the second set of IMT but remembered how much I'd paid to do this, and hauled myself off the couch. See, money CAN buy fitness!

a small triumph

Today I made it through the IMT twice. For the first time. I've only managed once on the last 2 days.

Still painful. And the fancy pushups are impossible; I did five from the knees this morning, and contented myself with doing 10 regular pushups (but no one-hand-in-the-air stunts) this evening.

I still can't touch the floor on the one-legged things, and can't touch the floor with my foot on the hip abduction ones. But perhaps these things will come with time?

Day 2 measurements

(forgot to do it yesterday)

Waist 33.5 in, possibly 34 in, I really am lousy with these wretched measuring tapes, but I know my doctor always measures me at much fatter than I measure myself, so I have no idea really

Hips - well actually butt, why do they call it "hips"? My hips are 6 inches higher up - 39.5 in (same caveats apply)

Thighs - 23"? 23.5"? I've forgotten already. Left thigh; didn't measure the right.

started the Look Great Naked Challenge yesterday

And promptly fell on my face, because we had a barbecue last night with lots of friends over. I did fine on the ED until someone brought a cake, and I had two pieces. Also a lot of everything else (potato salad, etc) - now, I made it myself so I know it was okay as far as the ED went, but still. No hamburger bun though! However, I woke up this morning 2.4 lb heavier than yesterday morning. Also didn't drink all my water and only did the IMT exercises once. (I still ache all over.)
