One week and it's been a year!

On March 3rd, 2008 I began the Elimination Diet for the first time. It went really well and was a jumping off point for sharing the experience and the information gained with many of my family and friends. Yeah, maybe I just read it in a thread of yours. In England we don't have the plastic lined tins so that's ok on that level. I am a little stuck as I don't like salmon or most other fish. I do eat cod and some other white fish steamed or baked but tuna was my staple as it's quick, easy and convenient to just sprinkle onto a salad. I do want to try the ED but I am afraid that if I cut out all the foods that I eat (like tinned tuna) I will end up getting so bored with just chicken/turkey that I will just say forget it. Also I am concerned about protein as apart from chicken and turkey, egg whites are my only other main source if you take out the tuna. It's a dilemma for sure.

Hi Elisa. Can you tell me who told you canned tuna is ok to eat? I remember you telling me it was as long as it was packed in water but now someone else is telling me it's not ok as it's pre-cooked. I know you have done alot of research into ED so thought I would ask you. Thanks.
