Dax told us too avoid any form of caffeine coffee, or teas during the Elimination diet. De-caffeinated as well. Only 'clean' foods are allowed for a good detox, and you cannot guarantee that all the caffeine is removed, and some of them are processed and stripped with chemicals.
It is only for 30 days, and you do find the results worth it. Many never drink coffee again, although Dax himself does. Cannot comment on vinegars because I add a splash of cider vinegar, or sometimes balsamic to a salad.
Only a very small amount with light virgin olive oil, sultanas, chopped onion/spring onion/beetroot/radishes sometimes red/green/yellow/orange pepper as well.
Good luck with your ED. I am on the end of my 3rd, long term plan/program following since 2004. Introduced to the ED in 2007 by my PT who followed it himself the same time as me.
