Welcome To The 'Family Home' Of Dax Moy And Friends

I am now on day 14, but I have not lost a single ounce since I started the diet. I am following the diet to the letter. Anyone else experienced zero weight loss?

Hi Irene,

sorry to hear you are not loosing weight! Can you give us a little more insight into what you are doing: do you work out? If yes, what, and how often and intense? Could it be that you are still in a calorie surplus, even though the foods might be ED approved? I noticed that my go to snack was nuts, and I overate on quite a few days.... Or do you eat too little and your body is just clinging to every ounce right now?
Let us know what you do, and hopefully that weight will come off soon. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the response. I excercise moderately at least 3 times a week ( an hour on each occassion). I do weights and some cardio, but I find that I don't have as much energy as I had before I started the diet. I snack on nuts and fruit probably about 3 different fruits a day- yesterday, I had a nectarine, plum and orange and about 25 grams of peanuts. I eat 3 main meals a day and try to eat something every 3 hours. I am vegetarian so my source of protein is limited as I have eliminated processed meat substitutes. I have been eating a lot more lentils, beans and chickpeas.

Irene,
not sure what to tell you.... that is a question for Dax and his team! Seems like you are doing it all right, maybe it just takes a little longer for you to kick in? I assume that your diet was pretty healthy before this already, with you being a vegetarian. Sorry, but except making sure that you are in a good calorie range and don't eat too many calories without noticing it, I am not sure what is going on there. You might want to e-mail Dax directly and ask for ideas on what is happening to you.

Good luck!

Hi Irene,

Can you tell me your height and weight? Private message me this if you would rather not broadcast it!

Also can you break down what you are doing in the gym?

Finally can you give me a few days listed of what you eat and how much water your drinking?

In the mean time i suggest that you obviously make sure you are sticking 100% to elimination but also make sure you are not over eating carbs. I understand this is more difficult for you as a vegetarian. I am going to give you some suggestions that you can play with. Some of the suggestions may not be strictly vegetarian but i know vegetarians that allow all sorts!

To help raise the protein and fat whilst lowering carbs try:

Eggs (eat as many as you want. They are fine to eat every day so go ahead)
Fish (before you say it, some vegetarians eat fish as still call them selves vegetarians)
Nuts (raw nuts, get mixed nuts so that you have a variety of benefits)
Seeds (again try to get mixed for variety)

Flax oil (this is a good way to boost your omega 3 intake which is extremely important. keep it refrigerated)
http://www.red23.co.uk/Omega-Nutrition-Organic-Flax-Seed-Oil-355ml_...

Cod liver oil (again good for omega 3 fatty acids but also a good source will have vitamin A and vitamin D)
http://www.red23.co.uk/Blue-Ice-Royal-120-Caps_p_286.html

Another important thing you need to make sure your addressing is your sleep. Make sure you go to bed at 10 and are asleep by 10.30. Start winding down towards the evening by turning lights down and relaxing. There is a good chance that excessively high cortisol levels are causing you problems.

Send that information over to and i will look at what you as an individual might be doing wrong.
